Tarun spent his childhood and early adulthood in Mumbai. After toying with the idea of becoming a pilot, he found his calling in dentistry. He attained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in 1997 and worked as a General Dentist with a passion in Prosthodontics. This led him to seek masters course in Prosthodontics from University of Sydney, where he twice received the International Merit Scholarship Award.
Tarun joined Dr. Scott Davis in 2010 as a Specialist Prosthodontist in his Port Macquarie, NSW clinic. He was offering services along the Mid North Coast of New South Wales and Northern NSW for more than 6 years. In 2016, he started his own specialist referral based Prosthodontic practice in Tugun, QLD and a branch clinic in Ballina, NSW.
He has a passion for sharing his knowledge and enjoys the role of part time clinical supervisor at Griffith University. He has given lectures on various Prosthodontic topics at the Australian Dental Association meetings, local study clubs and at Griffith University. He regularly runs dental implant training workshops for dentists and is a speaker for Neoss Dental Implants.
His special areas of interest are treatment of worn dentition and Implant Prosthodontics. Achieving clinical outcomes based on best evidence in the most cost effective manner is of utmost importance to him.
Tarun is a member of the Australian Dental Association, International team of Implantologist (ITI) and the Australian Prosthodontic Society. He holds the position of secretary for the Australian Dental Association Far North Coast NSW division. He loves bushwalking, playing tennis and spending time with his family.
Natalie is a dental assistant with over 14 years’ experience. She has recently relocated to the Gold Coast with her partner and two boys.
When not at work Nat enjoys catching the latest bands and heading to the beach.
